Came with a 60* which is a new one for me. Haven't been on the course yet to see what kind of backspin I get. I can hit a nice high draw or fade (not Bubba stuff) as well as straight. My tendency has always been to hit about 1/4" toward the toe so the extra toe weighting seems to work in my favor. To my surprise, I hit them longer and straighter than the Radials. I immediately headed out to the pasture with a 5 iron and shag bag. Liked the looks and with the larger blade and noodle shafts I thought I'd give them a try. I no longer can bend the stiff shafts so I was looking for a senior set. I loved the higher shots,a little more distance and square grooves. Quickly, a bit about me, I am a 5-6 HDCP depending on how much I get to play and I am a recovering one lengther (I have the Cobra F9 One Lengths which were fun for a few years but I am missing the 'precision' of shorter short irons so I am moving back to a traditional length set). These can be had at a great price while theyre still. They will give you in stant feedback on your swing, good or bad. This is a quality set of blades for 'the better player' or the player who wants to be better. I picked up this set BNIB on ebay w/ Apex 4 shaft. I bought a used set of Radials in mid life. Wanted to leave what I hope is useful information on the Ben Hogan PTxPro iron (7 iron only). Ben Hogan 03 Apex 50th Anniversary Irons.
